                           FJORY BEAUTYS – beauty contest

Within the FJORY series of events from April till November 2006 – within three sessions of preliminary decision- 31 candidates competed against each other to qualify as the finalist of the FJORY beauty contest on January the 6th in the “Kulturhaus Arena” in Stuttgart.

In the advance of the events the candidates applied using photos and CVs so that the participants were chosen within a lot of applications.
First the candidates presented themselves to the jury in trendy casual wear followed by elegant evening dress. The jury consisted of experts in the fashion industry including the director of the model agency ‘Manigoo’(Mannheim) and the manager of the brand ROCA WEAR Germany.
The ladies had the possibility to get styled professionally.
Between the courses of events live acts like Zeymawi (Netherlands), Sedet (Stuttgart) and Selam (Munich) entertained the people until finally two groups of winners were published by the moderators Teddy and Hadnet and the in-kind prizes were handed over.

On Saturday the 6th 2007 the huge finale of the FJORY Beautys beauty contest took place inside the ‘Kulturhaus Arena’ in Stuttgart.
The location was decorated glamorous accordingly. Courses were set with noble draperies, decorative lights and a red carpet. In addition to that there were ‘welcome-drinks’ as well as a free cold buffet.

The 12 finalists, six male and six female participants -whereas one female candidate wasn’t able to appear caused by an illness- , presented themselves the best they could for the last time.
The competition was extended by another passage due to the finale. Beside the creative casual wear in the first passage and the evening dress in the third, the participants presented themselves in sporty outfits of the brand ROCA-WEAR.
At the end of the third passage the jury retired to discuss the decision. At 00h30 they finally handed out their decision to the moderator:

The winner among the ladies is the enchantress MILENA TESFAI from Kassel, among the men it was BEN ARAYA from Stuttgart who could satisfy the jury.
Both of the winners are glad to have won the plane ticket to Eritrea, sponsored by the Eritrean Airlines, as well as a full-time professional photo shoot incl. a digital sedcard.

FJORY BEAUTYS - Modelcontest

Im Rahmen der FJORY Eventreihe traten von April bis November 2006, in drei Vorentscheidungsrunden,  31 Kandidaten & Kandidatinnen gegeneinander an, um sich als Finalistin bzw. Finalist für den FJORY Modelcontest, am 06 Januar 2007 in der Kulturhaus Arena in Stuttgart, zu qualifizieren.

Die Kandidaten haben sich im Vorfeld der jeweiligen Events mit Bildern und einem Lebenslauf beworben, so dass die Teilnehmer letztlich aus einem großen Pool an Bewerbungen ausgewählt wurden.
In zwei Durchgängen , zuerst im Freizeitlook und anschließend in eleganter Abendgarderobe,
präsentierten sich die Kandidaten der Jury, welche aus Experten der Mode- und Lifestyle Branche bestand .Dabei gab es für die Damen vorher die Möglichkeit, sich professionell und
typgerecht stylen zu lassen.
Zwischen den Durchgängen sorgten jeweils Live Acts wie Zeymawi (Holland) ,Sedet (Stuttgart) und Selam(München) für ausgelassene Unterhaltung, bevor anschließend die zwei Gewinnerpaare von den Moderatoren Teddy und Hadnet bekannt gegeben und die Sachpreise übergeben wurden.

Am Samstag, den 06 Januar 2007 fand in den Räumlichkeiten der Kulturhaus Arena in Stuttgart, das große Finale des FJORY Beautys Modelcontest statt.
Die Location wurde dem Anlass entsprechend glamourös dekoriert, so wurde unter anderem
mit edlen Stoffen, dekorativem Licht und einem Roten Teppich entsprechende Akzente gesetzt. Zusätzlich gab es für die Gäste einen Welcome Drink sowie ein kostenloses Fingerfoodbuffet.

Die Zwölf Finalisten & Finalistinnen, jeweils sechs männliche und sechs weibliche Teilnehmer, von denen allerdings eine Kandidatin aufgrund einer Erkrankung leider kurzfristig ausfiel, präsentierten sich ein letztes mal von ihrer schönsten Seite.
Für das Finale wurde der Wettbewerb um einen Durchgang erweitert. Neben dem kreativen Freizeitlook im ersten Lauf, und der Abendgarderobe im dritten Lauf, präsentierten sich die Teilnehmer im zweiten Lauf in sportlichen Outfits der Marke ROCA-WEAR.

Im Anschluss an den dritten Lauf zog sich die Jury, bestehend aus der Geschäftsführerin der Mannheimer Modelagentur Manigoo, ihrem Modelscout, sowie dem Brandmanager von Roca-Wear Deutschland, zur Entscheidung zurück um dann gegen 00:30Uhr ihr Ergebnis dem Moderator des Abends zu überreichen:

Bei den Damen gewann die zauberhafte MILENA TESFAI aus Kassel und bei den Männern konnte BEN ARAYA aus Stuttgart die Jury zu überzeugen.
Beide Gewinner dürfen sich nun über das gewonnene Flugticket nach Eritrea, gesponsort von Eritrean Airlines, sowie einem ganztägigen, professionellen Fotoshooting inkl. einer digitalen Sedcard freuen.
